Care Provider Needed for 15-Year-Old Boy with Special Needs in Santa Rosa

Compensation:

• $30-hour (wage can be increased based on disability experience and qualifications)

Schedule:

MUST BE AVAILABLE FROM 9AM TO 12PM MON THROUGH THURSDAY

(This is flexible if you are only available a couple of days.)

Employee Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable vehicle

• Experience working with people with special needs is a plus

• Patient, compassionate approach to caregiving

• Ability to provide school tutoring/special education support is a huge plus.

• Moderate/severe special needs experience is a huge plus. 

•Behavior intervention knowledge is also a huge plus.

* Personality traits that would be a plus = fun, silly, patient + able to think on their feet. 

B. tends to connect well with lively, fun personalities. 

* There are tax forms + a background check needed for this position. You will be paid for your time completing these extra steps. You will be paid every two weeks via check or direct deposit.

About Our Family/Teen

We are a loving family in Santa Rosa. B. is a happy, active teen with Down Syndrome who attends an independent study school program mostly from home. He enjoys activities like dance class, karate, camping and baseball. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing attentive supervision and care for B.

• Assisting with daily routines (school work, snacks, meals, hygiene)

• Transporting B. to community activities
